Further developments in the reported firing on Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson have emerged via his ex-fiancée Kelly Osbourne. The pair had a son together, Sidney, in 2022, with Wilson proposing to Kelly at last year’s ‘Back To The Beginning‘ festival in front of various members of the Osbourne clan. This past March it was reported that the couple had called off their engagement.
This past Friday, July 31st, TMZ reported that Wilson had been fired from Slipknot, though neither Wilson nor Slipknot have since went on to publicly confirm the news. However, less reported on was a comment shared by Kelly on her social media right around the time Sid got fired. It was a repost on her Instagram story, which read:
“No one will smear your name more viciously than the person terrified you’ll expose the truth about them.”
It would seem that Kelly has reached her wits end, as at least one of a series of posts shared on her Instagram story today, August 03rd, would appear to be about Wilson. Three of her posts that have caught the eye of Slipknot fans today read as follows:
“Strange how the loudest defense of the guilty is rarely innocence… It’s distraction. When the mask slips, they don’t face the mirror they throw it at someone else. I also heard that when you break a mirror you get 7 years bad luck! Or is that just karma? This is why I always take accountability! As they say some are sicker then others.”
“Wake the fuck up take some responsibility I will not take your shit anymore! I’m done. I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. let me heal. I can’t protect you from yourself anymore.
“Also while I’m at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?”
Osbourne only has one child, and it’s with Wilson. Whether or not all three of the indirect posts were directed at Wilson however continues to be debated by fans. Earlier today TMZ issued a follow-up report on Wilson‘s apparent ejection from the band, claiming his firing was a result of his behavior towards his bandmates and had reportedly been under consideration for some time.
