Salem Trials are ushering in their brand new EP “Heavy Is The Head” with the premiere of a music video for their song, “Mercy Of God’s Hand“. The Canadian deathcore outfit collectively had the following to say about this new track:
“The song, ‘Mercy Of God’s Hand,’ follows a narrative of an enraged God horrified and disgusted by humanity. He sees no option but to bring swift and violent death to all mankind, to end the true nightmare it has become. God sends an army of terror to carry out his will, led by a beast wielding his full strength. Both lyrically and sonically, the song is meant to capture the same energy of old testament stories, channelling the farthest reaches of our frustrations with current events and the urge of many to start over. Though none of us are hoping for Armageddon, we know many cry out for a drastic shift in how the world is run. These lyrics, in a way, reflect on that sentiment.”
