A slew of songs for ‘Stage Tour‘, the new rhythm game being developed by RedOctane Games, were revealed over the weekend. Envisioned as a spiritual successor of sorts to the once dominant ‘Guitar Hero‘ and ‘Rock Band‘ franchises, this new game is being worked on in part by veterans of the ‘Guitar Hero‘ & ‘DJ Hero‘ franchises. However, the game won’t strictly be limited to guitars, with a new drum peripheral and microphone support also confirmed.
A partnership with Gibson, Kramer, Epiphone & Mesa Boogie has seen the reveal of a new Kramer-modeled guitar peripheral created for the game, with the public unveiling taking place at the 2026 IGN Live event over the weekend. Various branded instruments and equipment from the aforementioned brands are also featured in the game. In the below new developer spotlight trailer, a handful of hit songs were newly confirmed as well.
Among them were the 5x platinum “Dani California” from funk rock icons Red Hot Chili Peppers, the 4x platinum “Island In The Sun” from alternative rockers Weezer, and the platinum-certified “Square Hammer” from Swedish occult rockers Ghost.
Also included was “Get The Funk Out“, a 1990 funk rock classic from Extreme, and the more recent collision between Japanese kawaii metallers BABYMETAL and German electronicore band Electric Callboy, “RATATATA“. The proverbial ‘setlist ‘ for the game thus far runs as follows:
Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Dani California“
Ghost – “Square Hammer“
Good Kid – “Mimi’s Delivery Service“
BABYMETAL & Electric Callboy – “RATATATA“
Extreme – “Get The Funk Out“
Weezer – “Island In The Sun“
Static-X – “Terminator Oscillator“
The aforementioned Static-X track was was first shown back in the game’s reveal this past February. Further major announcements for the song list for the game remain pending. Additionally, roguelite elements were revealed for the campaign mode to entice further replayability, while multiplayer support and more were also shown off. A fall 2026 release is currently expected on console and PC platforms, with further details available via stagetour.com.
