REZN are wasting no time with the promotional campaign for their upcoming new album “Cycles In The Infinite Dream“. Less than a month ago the psych/doom band announced a July 24th release date for that record, sharing the lead single “Cloudfall“. Today, June 03rd, sees the premiere of their second advance track from that outing, “Rites Of Passage“.
The group’s vocalist/guitarist Rob McWilliams added some context to this track, stating of it:
“We wanted to go for a barreling, rolling feel between the rhythm and lead, so this one felt perfect for emphasizing those elements while giving you a glimpse into the rest of the album. The end payoff is the epitome of that feeling, just letting it ride with a thousand-pound drone to send you off on the journey.”
Chris Owsiany and Tom Conway co-directed the below music video that has just launched for this song. Fans will have numerous chances to catch the band out on the initial touring behind this record, with the following dates announced thus far:
