Last night, Bring Me The Horizon brought out MAPHRA for their first collaborative live performance of the aforementioned British alternative metal band’s 2015 track, “Doomed” together. That anticipated pairing took place at the annual ‘Sonic Temple‘ festival, which was held at the Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH. Bring Me The Horizon were last night’s headlining act.

That guest appearance served as MAPHRA‘s second time sharing the stage with a big name artist, following her recent live debut with Ice Nine Kills at last weekend’s ‘Welcome To Rockville‘ festival. MAPHRA has found considerable success online in recent months for her covers of various alternative metal and metalcore tracks.

Her own cover of “Doomed topped Billboard’s Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart earlier this year, racking up tens of millions of streams since. She’s since went on to rank on that chart again with her take on Spiritbox‘s “Circle With Me“.

Given that Bring Me The Horizon vocalist Oli Sykes suffered a mild concussion onstage earlier this week after being hit by a phone thrown from the audience, he probably welcomed the extra vocal assistance during yesterday’s performance.
