Ice Nine Kills had rising star MAPHRA join them onstage for the live debut of their ‘Scream 7‘ track “Twisting The Knife” this week. That pairing occurred during their May 07th set at this year’s ‘Welcome To Rockville‘ festival in Daytona Beach, FL. MAPHRA, who has been making a buzz with her covers of various metalcore tracks on social media and even managing to hit the charts, took over the parts on “Twisting The Knife” originally handled by ‘Scream 7‘ actress Mckenna Grace. It is said that this performance marked her live debut.
Meanwhile, the horror-loving, gold-certified metalcore outfit also rolled out their recent ‘Grave Diggler‘ single “Hell Or High Slaughter” for the first time during that set as well. Ice Nine Kills released that latter song under an alter ego, writing it under the guise of a fictional 80s glam metal band populated by their fathers. It was released in connection to the recent horror/thriller, ‘Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come‘
