Melodic hardcore stars Turnstile have added another cover their repertoire this year. A trip to the Radio 1 Live Lounge for BBC Radio 1 has seen the Baltimore natives tackle a 1989 offering from Inside Out. That Californian hardcore punk band featured a pre-Rage Against The Machine vocalist in Zack de la Rocha and also a pre-Hare Krishna Vic DiCara. You can watch Turnstile run through that track in the studio below, along with in-studio performances of their own cuts, “DULL” and “I CARE“.
It’s been a fruitful year for covers when it comes to radio station visits for Turnstile this year. This past March saw the group take on The Stone Roses‘ “I Wanna Be Adored“ during a trip to Australian radio station Triple J.
Despite rumored reunions over the year, Inside Out have remained silence since the early 90s.
