Turnstile‘s hometown hero status in Baltimore, MD will be celebrated by the Baltimore Orioles in July. The team will be hosting ‘Turnstile Night’ at Oriole Park on July 10th during their home game against the Kansas City Royals. The melodic hardcore stars will be in attendance to participate in the night’s proceedings, assisting mascot ‘Mr. Splash’ in his shenanigans. There’s also a special jersey (see above) that fans can get with this ticket package.
This isn’t the first time the GRAMMY Award-winning melodic hardcore outfit have teamed up with their hometown team, as the band previously threw out the opening pitch at a game back in 2023.
While heavier bands getting this type of treatment in the MLB is rare, it’s not unheard of. Metallica have received similar celebrations from the San Francisco Giants.
