Floridian post-hardcore/pop-punkers Sleeping With Sirens have racked up another slew of gold and platinum certifications from the RIAA. Four singles from the band’s catalog have newly crossed the requisite performance thresholds for those awards.
First up is “If You Can’t Hang“, the third single off the band’s gold-certified sophomore album “Let’s Cheers To This” has earned the band their biggest certification thus far, having newly hit double platinum status in the United States. It previously went platinum back in May of 2022.
Newly attaining platinum status in this new wave is ““If I’m James Dean, Then You’re Audrey Hepburn“, the second single to be launched from the band’s 2010 debut album “With Ears To See And Eyes To Hear“. The fourth and final single from “Let’s Cheers To This“, “A Trophy Father’s Trophy Son” has also just gone gold, as has “Scene One – James Dean & Audrey Hepburn“, a non-single from the band’s 2012 EP “If You Were a Movie, This Would Be Your Soundtrack“. This latest round of certifications were all awarded on April 02nd, 2026.
*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
