Moodring‘s new track “Cannibal” has received its online premiere today, December 03rd. Hunter Young (PSYCHO-FRAME, etc.) serves as the mastermind behind this alternative metal venture had had the following to say about this new single:
“‘Cannibal‘ was one of the last songs added to record, sonically focused on combining nu metal, alt rock, and industrial dance music. The song takes the life and mating cycles of black widow spiders to compare and contrast intimate relationships of our own and how they can be ‘cannibalistic,’ nihilistic, and ultimately end in demise.”
This latest song is also getting a boost from being featured in the trailer for a new season of the Crunchyroll manga series ‘Clevatess‘. While Moodring signed with SharpTone Records this year and wrapped up sessions for their new album this past March, word on when to expect their next full-length has yet to arrive.
