It certainly would appear that The Sword are back in the studio. The stoner/doom metal outfit reunited in 2024 after a roughly two-year hiatus, but have mainly been focused on their live pursuits and past album anniversaries thus far.
A pair of pictures shared on the Instagram of bassist/vocalist, etc. Bryan Richie today, November 28th, showcase the band’s gear mic’d up in what appears to be an intimate studio environment. The obvious suggestion from them would be that the band could have something new cooking. Richie wasn’t the only member of the Texan outfit to share those images, but as of yet, they’ve collectively offered no insight as to their plans.
