Having successfully mounted a comeback in 2024 with the release of his twelfth studio album, “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1“, and the subsequent touring that has followed, shock rocker Marilyn Manson is ready to focus on the next chapter. While that term is often used in a metaphorical sense, its usage at this moment is very much literal, as he has newly teased that the second chapter to that above-mentioned album is coming “very soon.”
While Manson‘s existence in the music industry has rarely been without controversy, back in 2021 over a dozen women came forward against him with allegations of sexual misconduct/assault. The impact of those allegations saw him ostracized, with his management, label and talent agent all dropping him in response.
Since then, a number of those allegations have played out in court, while others remain in motion. You can catch up on all that in this past piece detailing his legal matters. For his part, Manson has publicly denied the claims put forth against him.
Those impact of those allegations and legal proceedings however continue to linger however, resulting in a pair of his UK shows coming under fire from local politicians & activists this year, while another stop in Mexico was faced with protests.
