AC/DC kicked off their homecoming tour of their native Australia today, November 12th, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia. The hard rock titans had a special surprise in store for those who managed to score tickets, namely the first live performance of “Jailbreak” from their third album “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” since 1991. Fan-filmed footage of that has been shared below. However, being absent from the setlist for so long, allegations of vocalist Brian Johnson relying a bit too heavily on the teleprompter for that song’s return already surfacing.
The setlist for the opening night of the tour ran as follows:
“If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)“
“Back In Black“
“Demon Fire“
“Shot Down In Flames“
“Thunderstruck“
“Have A Drink On Me“
“Hells Bells“
“Shot In The Dark“
“Stiff Upper Lip“
“Highway To Hell“
“Shoot To Thrill“
“Sin City“
“Jailbreak“
“Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap“
