British heavy metal legends Judas Priest have plans to record their twentieth studio album in 2026. According to a recent interview with bassist Ian Hill, the Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers have already got a head start on the writing process for it, as he recently told Audio Ink Radio:
“There’s plans to go back into the studio in the new year. So when it’ll be released, I don’t know. It’s a long process. We’re in no rush either, so it’ll be a while. But the recording is gonna happen, it looks like, next year.”
When asked about where the band are at with the effort, Hill offered:
“I know Richie [Faulkner, Judas Priest guitarist] has. He’s got quite a few ideas together, yeah. So we’ve got a head start there.”
