Just in time for the kickoff of their North American tour celebrating their 4x multi-platinum 2006 album “The Black Parade“, emo rockers My Chemical Romance have landed another assortment of gold and platinum single certifications for various singles from it. Those certifications denote the streaming/sales performance of those songs in the United States, with the following awards being handed down by the RIAA yesterday, July 11th.

Several of the songs performed from “The Black Parade” featured reprised sections or new outros/intros, including a “dagger”-related outro on “Mama“, which the band had previously teased on social media ahead of time.
The set also played out across two different stages, with the non-“To The Black Parade” portion taking place on a more separate more intimate stage, removed from the conceptual overtones of that album and accompanying stage production for the main portion of the show.
