Following their foray into the world of alternative rock, The Armed are back to haunting more familiar turf with their newly released single, “Well Made Play“. Christopher Gruse directed the below music video that accompanies that song.
That track is taken from The Armed‘s next full-length album, “The Future Is Here And Everything Needs To Be Destroyed“, which Sargent House will be releasing on August 01st.
Vocalist Tony Wolski said of the clip:
“While we chase distractions and small comforts, we’re pushed into endless competition with each other—often while those with real power take freely, right in front of us.”
Speaking of the guest-filled album, he went on to add:
“It’s music for a statistically wealthy population that somehow can’t afford food or medicine—endlessly scrolling past vacation photos, gym selfies, and images of child amputees in the same feed. It reflects the dissociation required just to exist in that reality.”
