Bludgeoned By Deformity‘s debut EP “Epoch Of Immorality” will be arriving on June 06th through Iron Fortress Records. The newly formed brutal death metal band sport a roster filled with some scene vets, here’s how their lineup runs:
Vocals: Devin Swank (Sanguisugabogg, Earthburner, etc.)
Guitarist: Bradon Studebaker (Immortal Torment, ex-Rejoice)
Guitarist: Andre Pickens (Tsuris)
Bass: Ethan Buttery (Jivebomb, Sinister Feeling)
Drums: Adam Jarvis (Pig Destroyer, Scour, etc.)
Swank and Studebaker formed the band last year around a shared love for mid 90s and early 00s East Coast death metal bands. A pair of guest appearances are featured on this debut outing, with guest guitar from Pyrexia‘s Chris Basile surfacing on the newly shared “False Deliverance“. Given that Bludgeoned By Deformity lifted their moniker from a Pyrexia song of the same name, this guest spot is a no-brainer
Waking The Cadaver‘s Don Campan provided guest vocals on the song “Extirpated Human Existence“. Elaborating on “False Deliverance“, the band stated, “This song is about hypocrisy displayed by Christians when they force their beliefs on others when they are pieces of shit themselves behind the curtain.”
Plans for the band to stage their live debut this summer are being assembled with more details to come.
