Foo Fighters vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl continued his string of guest live appearances this past weekend. While the Foo Fighters have remained on the shelf since Grohl revealed last fall that he had newly fathered a child outside of his marriage, he has since shown up onstage for a pair of mini-Nirvana reunions (see here and here, while also having shared the stage with shared the stage with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Along with a guest appearance from Lisa Loeb, Grohl sat in with a collective of musicians that included fellow Foo Fighter Rami Jaffee, as well as Wiley Hodgen and John Lousteau. Together they ran through a set of covers at this past Saturday’s (April 26th) ‘Oakwood Live‘ event. The net proceeds from that fundraising concert will go towards financial assistance for students attending the Oakwood School in North Hollywood, CA.
