In what has become a regular feature, Cave In/Converge vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky has been doing a deep dive into various hardcdore and post-hardcore records of old, delivering acoustic renditions of songs that have held a meaning to him. Brodsky‘s take on Sense Field‘s 1994 track “Voice” is the newest entry in that prolific series of covers. Here’s what he had to say about it:
“‘Voice‘ by Sensefield. Cave In once played with Sensefield at KrazyFest in Louisville & Jon Bunch told me he would use Vick’s vapor rub to keep his voice in shape. During their set, I did notice that his neck looked kinda shiny – he also sounded great.”
