Multi-platinum glam metallers Mötley Crüe have dropped off this year’s inaugural ‘Boardwalk Rock‘ festival, which will take place May 17-18th in Ocean City, MD. While no statement was given by the band themselves, organizers for the festival cited “health concerns” in the Mötley Crüe camp as the reason for the lineup change.
It is presumed that Mötley Crüe vacated their spot in light of their vocalist Vince Neil‘s recent medical procedure. Grunge legends Alice In Chains have since been tapped to replace the band on the bill for the fest, which will now run as follows.
