The long road to Misery Index‘s eighth studio album continues. The Baltimore, MD deathgrind band began writing for that effort back in March of 2024. At that time, they were looking to have the record out early this year. Per an update shared on the band’s social media just under a week ago, they admitted that things have been moving a bit slower than they initially anticipated, stating:
“…3/4ths of us clandestinely convened for a brutal riff session and put new songs on the chopping block.The songwriting gears are in motion – but more like a slow moving tank than a peregrine falcon. Stay tuned for updates as the world burns…”
