Butcher Babies & DED Added To Attila's Controversial 'America's Rejects Tour'

Alternative metal outfit Butcher Babies and nü-metallers DED have signed on to replace Oceano on Attila‘s controversial ‘America’s Rejects Tour‘. That trek, which also features Dealer and Nathan James, made headlines a few weeks back after Oceano came under fire online for accepting the run.

The source of the outrage was the involvement of Dealer‘s Aidan Ellaz Holmes & Attila vocalist Chris Fronzak, both whom have had allegations of sexual misconduct, assault, etc. leveled against them in the past.

For their part, both have also denied those allegations, with Holmes discussing the matter publicly last month and Fronzak denying the allegations made against him back in 2020. In 2020, Attila did however fire their drummer Bryan McClure following allegations of rape and sexual misconduct.

The initial announcement of the ‘America’s Rejects Tour‘ was met with derision from several musicians, including Alpha Wolf bassist/vocalist John Arnold, who appeared to label it the ‘rapist abuser tour‘, implying that those involved with the trek would feel repercussions in the industry.

Fit For A King bassist/vocalist Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary also took a shot at the bill, stating via social media, “I wonder if Dealer will participate in Fronz’s only fans? Might be too consensual for Aidan.”

In response to the uproar, Oceano not only vacated their slot, but their vocalist Adam Warren also decided to end Oceano entirely. Seemingly unfazed by the controversy, Fronzak vowed to forge ahead with the tour, stating “We’re gonna make it even sicker now!“.

That now newly revamped bill will see Attila headline with Butcher Babies as direct support. DED, Dealer and Nathan James round out the bill.
