God Forbid have announced the cancelation of their planned December 12th live set at Harlows in Sacramento, CA. The New Jersey metalcore band were set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their third studio album, 2004’s “Gone Forever“, at that stop.
Speaking yesterday, December 04th, the band stated:
“Hey there, northern California God Forbid fans. We wanted to send our deepest apologies, but unfortunately, we will have to cancel our upcoming show at Harlows in Sacramento, CA on December 12th due to logistical issues.
We hate to disappoint the diehards and will do our best to make it up as soon as we can. If you feel like making a trip, we will still be performing our headline set in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, December 13th. Refunds available at point of sale.”
The group still have a trio of West Coast shows booked for later this month, including:
12/13 Los Angeles, CA – The Regent (“Gone Forever” 20th anniversary set) (feat. Burton C. Bell, Exmortus, Skinlab and Thrown Into Exile)
12/14 Anaheim, CA – House Of Blues (feat. Bleeding Through, Nekrogoblikon, I Declare War & Last Of Our Kind)
12/15 San Diego, CA – The Observatory (feat. Bleeding Through, Nekrogoblikon & I Declare War)
In other news, the band have put together a cassette tape EP titled “The Lost Noize“. That effort will house an assortment of b-sides, cover songs and rarities from the band’s Century Media Records era. Only 150 copies of the cassette have been manufactured, with the lot being made available for sale exclusively via the aforementioned shows.
