Darren Travis vocalist/guitarist for Californian thrash metal outfit Sadus has announced that the band have parted ways with co-founding drummer Jon Allen. A statement released on the matter by Travis today, December 04th, reads:
“Upon recent allegations of misconduct.. SADUS will be parting ways with Jon Allen.. I do not condone any type of malicious behavior towards any person.

Allen‘s firing follows disturbing footage and allegations of abuse being made against him. A woman identifying herself as Allen‘s significant other shared those allegations publicly online recently.
It is unclear as to when the incidents took place, however they appear to be just ahead of the band’s ongoing overseas tour with Obituary. Along with the allegations came disturbing footage involving Allen, and pictures of the injuries the woman, who was said to been hooked up to a dialysis machine at the time of the alleged abuse, claims to have suffered.
Devin Riche, vocalist/bassist for the band Anubis, stepped forward in support of the woman in question, compiling the footage and images. The woman herself has also publicly called out Allen. Various posts from her outlining the situation have been shared on her social media.
