The latest in a long line of beer collaborations between Deftones and Belching Beaver Brewery has just been announced. This offering celebrates this upcoming weekend’s ‘Dia de los Deftones‘ festival, which will be held November 02nd at Petco Park in San Diego, CA.
In addition to a headlining set from the Sacramento, CA-based alternative metal favorites, performances from Idles, Sunny Day Real Estate (performing “Diary“), HEALTH and more have also been booked.
A Mexican style lager with lime is being served up this year and carries a 5% ABV. An official product listing described it as, “combining the refreshing crushability of a lager and the exciting flavor of lime, this combo is perfect for hanging out on a warm, fall day listening to some of the best music by one of the most seminal bands of our time.”
Californian fans can already pre-order the beer via belchingbeaver.com. According to the group, the brew will also be available at the festival, with distribution also already rolling out Arizona and Colorado for now.
