Marc Hudson, lead vocalist for platinum-certified power metal outfit DragonForce, has signed to Napalm Records for his debut solo album, “Starbound Stories“. An August 25th release date has been scheduled for the album, with the first single “Astralive” having made its way out.
An official press release described the album itself as being, “a sparkling, anime-inspired power metal ride, heavily influenced by both Japanese music and video game soundtracks, and featuring a horde of notable guests.”
As for this first single, Hudson offered:
“‘Astralive‘ is the first single from the album and takes the listener on a power metal journey through space and time. This song explores the cosmic mysteries of the universe and mankind’s eternal search for wisdom beyond the stars.”
