Slipknot's Tortilla Man Shows Off His Newly Injured Ankle, Vows To Continue Touring

As history has proven, performing live in Slipknot can be hazardous to your health. Among the long list of injuries are vocalist Corey Taylor requiring spinal surgery (likewise for guitarists Mick Thomson and Jim Root), DJ Sid Wilson undergoing knee surgery and percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan tearing his bicep onstage—and that’s not counting the lesser health setbacks.

Given the severity of what some of his bandmates have endured, it’s no surprise then that despite recently incurring an ankle injury, Michael Pfaff, also known as as Slipknot‘s ‘Tortilla Man‘, has vowed to soldier on with the band’s ongoing European/UK tour. The percussionist/vocalist recently showed off his rather swollen and bruised ankle in the below photo earlier today (July 25th) via social media (see below.)

The masked metal phenomenon are currently ramping up to the September 30th release of their seventh studio album “The End, So Far“. You can catch them at the following shows in the coming months:
