Halestorm have another gold record to add to their growing collection with their 2013 single “Here’s To Us” having officially been certified gold in the United States. The song originally appeared on the band’s “Hello, It’s Mz. Hyde” EP as well as their 2012 gold album “The Strange Case Of…“. “Here’s To Us” was officially certified gold by the RIAA on July 27th, 2018.
It’s the band’s third single to go gold (alongside “I Get Off” and “I Miss The Misery“,) while they also have two gold albums (“Halestorm” and the aforementioned “The Strange Case Of…“.) A gold album in the United States represents 500,000 units. In addition to standard album sales, the sales certification factors in digital streams/downloads into their awards with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit.
Halestorm just released their new album “Vicious” earlier this month and are out on this summer tour with In This Moment and New Year’s Day. A fall leg of that trek has also been booked with dates available here.
