Diamond-certified rap star/actress Megan Thee Stallion has crossed over in the world of metal and rock in the past, most notably collaborating with Spiritbox, as well as Nickelback. She’s also previously hinted at an appreciation for early aughts nü-metal, after soundtracking a video of hers to Static-X‘s “Cold“.
Her latest video to be shared is a similar affair, and is soundtracked by Deftones‘ 4x platinum 2000 single “Change (In The House Of Flies)“. Of course, Deftones invited Megan Thee Stallion to play the 2019 ‘Dia de los Deftones‘ festival.
However, one fan in the comments of Megan‘s latest post seemingly put together that Static-X‘s “Cold” and the aforementioned Deftones track both appeared on the nü-metal-laden ‘Queen Of The Damned‘ soundtrack. When said fan commented, “I just know she loves the queen of the damned soundtrack too”, Megan directly replied “DO”.
