Given that Sleep Token made chart history with the May 2025 release of their latest album “Even In Arcadia“, it’s no surprise that the masked alternative metal band remain one of the scene’s biggest success stories. With massive hype and sold-out arena tours following, the sales accolades have begun to catch up. This past May, three of that album’s official singles, “Emergence“, “Caramel” and “Damocles” were all certified gold in the United States.
This week has seen that upward trajectory continue, with another pair of single certifications being handed down in the United States by the RIAA. As of yesterday, July 10th, the aforementioned GRAMMY-nominated “Caramel” has officially hit platinum status, while the “Even In Arcadia” non-single “Dangerous” has gone gold. In case you’re curious, “Even In Arcadia” itself was certified gold on January 26th of this year. Given the continued favorable performance of its singles, it would seem platinum status is in its future.
*A platinum album/single in the United States represents 1,000,000 units, while gold signifies 500,000 units. Outside of traditional physical/digital sales, the certifications factor in digital streams/downloads with 10 permanent track downloads counting as 1 unit and 1500 on-demand audio/video streams from a particular album also counting as as a unit. 150 streams of a song also equate to a track-equivalent unit.
