Industrial nü-metal band Amerakin Overdose have once again donned the masks for their just debuted new single, “Oxygen“. As with a number of their recent tracks, the group once again worked with Spineshank frontman Jonny Santos on this song, with the latter serving as a co-producer alongside Nikolas Roy Quemtri. Drumwell Media directed the below music .
Vocalist Cody Perez went on to say of the track’s lyrical inspiration, “‘Oxygen‘ is about the dangerous illusion of dependency—the belief that you can’t survive without someone or something, even when it’s destroying you. It’s about mistaking poison for air, and the struggle to break free from the things we cling to for survival.”
The group will be heading out on the road later this summer, with the following dates currently in play:
