It would appear that more info on the upcoming revamp of Bad Wolves will be out next Monday, June 29th. Thus far, various bits and pieces regarding the next chapter of the multi-platinum alternative metal band have come to light in recent months. In the wake of a rolling lineup exodus that saw numerous members exit, drummer John Boecklin has been seen to be rebuilding the band.
After turning down a reported seven-figure bid made by ex-Bad Wolves vocalist Tommy Vext to buy the rights to the group, Boecklin instead set out to reboot Bad Wolves with new members. Sara “Killboy” Skinner has been rumored to be the band’s new singer, while Animals As Leaders‘ guitarist Javier Reyes has been rumored to be involved as well. The status of guitarists AJ Rebollo and bassist Kevin Creekman remain unclear, though Rebollo has been seen in studio photos with the group.
Boecklin has publicly stated on social media that a fifth studio album from the group has been in production this year, with more info to come. It would appear that time is nearly upon us, as a tease shared by Bad Wolves today, June 22nd, hints at an upcoming June 29th reveal, with that post available below.
Various former members of the band have went on to pursue other ventures. Vocalist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz has landed in Falling In Reverse‘s touring band. Guitarist Doc Coyle has been back with God Forbid and touring with Snot. Guitarist Chris Cain and Tommy Vext are preparing to launch their new band With A Vengeance.
