Devourment surprise released a new EP titled “Pious Impiety” today, June 11th. The brutal death metal outfit stacked up three tracks for this first new outing in five years, including the title track, plus “Mortiferous Dependency” and “Advanced Stage Decomposition“. Recording sessions took place with Daniel Schmuck (Power Trip, Frozen Soul) overseeing the producing, mixing, engineering and mastering.

The Texan quartet will be warming up with a pair of shows at 1720 in Los Angeles on June 20th and 21st before heading out with Hatebreed, Snuffed On Sight, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life and Face Yourself on the first leg of this year’s ‘The Summer Slaughter Tour‘.
