Californian deathcore sextet Rev3rent have secured a label deal with Deep Love Recordings. That alternative label venture was launched this spring by Atlantic Records vet Cody Verdecias, in conjunction with the aforementioned major label. Rev3rent and Texan nü-metalcore band Empty Shell Casing are among the first signings.
Verdecias has overseen aspects of the careers of Turnstile, 100 GECS and more in his role at Atlantic, and aims to tailor the roster of Deep Love Recordings towards youth culture. As for Rev3rent , a new single from the band titled “Last One Here” has just gone up and was produced by Drew Fulk (Knocked Loose, Disturbed).
A press release boldly claims that Rev3rent‘s new label deal makes the band the heaviest Atlantic Records signing to date and adds that they will be, ‘redefining metal for the next generation.’
