Knocked Loose have announced an unbarricaded headling set at Albert Hall in Manchester, UK on June 27th. That ‘Outbreak‘ festival aftershow will find them headlining, with doors for the show opening at 12:30am. Lip Critic are kick off the show.

Additionally, Knocked Loose have also just premiered the second installment of their ‘Wherever We May Roam‘ summer tour documentary, which has been chronicling their ongoing European/UK tour. That run has included a coveted spot opening for thrash metal’s reigning kings in Metallica and progressive French metal innovators Gojira.

With the first episode of this webseries capturing frontman Bryan Garrisunexpected diagnosis of Bell’s Palsy, this latest episode shines a light on another setback the band have faced on that run: guitarist Isaac Hale getting hit by a car at a crosswalk. Both have opted to gut out the tour. Speaking of Garris, in this latest episode he checked in with an update on his condition, here’s what he had to say [transcribed by theprp.com]:

“Hello, Bell’s Palsy update, we are on two and a half to three weeks since the diagnosis from the first video. I just want to say thank you to everybody that reached out with their concern. I’m doing fine. I’m experiencing no pain, just a lot of discomfort. Since the video, it did get a little bit worse. I got to a point where my left eye was no longer blinking at all, and when I would try to smile, the left side of my mouth was just completely closed — fully stiff — which was difficult.

But since then it has actually gotten better. I woke up today feeling better than I have since the diagnosis. So I’m regaining some movement here… So yeah, hopefully this means we’re on the road to recovery. I’ve been getting acupuncture, been hitting the sauna — apparently the heat is good for the for the circulation of blood. So, thanks for everybody that was worried about me. We’re doing good.”
