Foo Fighters vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl got in on the closing date of Sepultura‘s North American farewell tour this past weekend. The 2x Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer picked up the sticks for the drum line during a performance of the “Chaos A.D.” track “Kaiowas“. That concert took place at The Wiltern in Los Angeles on May 29th.
Grohl of course is no slouch when it comes to drumming, having sat behind the kit for grunge legends Nirvana and taken on stints laying down percussion for numerous other high profile artists over the years. Fan-filmed footage of the aforementioned pairing is now available.
Grohl has been a longtime fan of Sepultura, having spoken highly of them on numerous occasions in the past. Last week saw Sepultura announce the final date for their farewell world tour. The Brazilian metal legends first embarked upon their global goodbye tour back in 2024, and will now be hanging it up on November 07th of this year at the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in São Paulo, Brazil.
