The end draws near for Brazilian metal legends Sepultura. Back in December of 2023, the influential band announced that they would be commencing a worldwide farewell tour in 2024. Up until today (May 27th), there had been no end date set for that run.

It’s now been confirmed that the band’s final show will take place on November 07th at the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in São Paulo, Brazil. This farewell sendoff for the group is expected to feature guest spots from a pair of former members in ex-drummer Jean Dolabella and guitarist Jairo Guedz.

Those hoping for a return of the brotherly duo of Max and Iggor Cavalera shouldn’t hold their breath however, as all signs point to the pair having turned down the invite. Outside of Sepultura, this swan song performance will also see sets from supergroup Metal Allegiance, Brazilian death metallers Krisiun and Arizonan thrashers Sacred Reich. Further special guests for the show are pending.

Tickets for the concert will be available to the general public starting this Saturday, May 30th. Santander presales will begin tomorrow, May 28th at 12:00pm local time.
