This past Thursday, May 14th, saw Converge play a last-minute performance in the parking lot of the Los Angeles HQ of their record label Epitaph Records. Announced just hours prior to the venerated metalcore band taking the stage, the group ripped through a 12-song set, according to those in attendance.
Below you can take in some fan-filmed footage from that intimate concert, which thegroup staged amid the final dates of their run with Poison The Well, The Armed & The Barbarians Of California. Only two shows remain for that trek, they include:
05/16 San Diego, CA – The Observatory North Park
05/17 San Francisco, CA – The Regency Ballroom
In what seemingly will be their most prolific year to date, Converge will be releasing their second new album of the year, “Hum Of Hurt“, on June 05th. That new full-length follows last February’s “Love Is Not Enough” and stems from the same writing and recording sessions that birthed that latter comeback album. “Love Is Not Enough” was the first traditional Converge record to see a release since 2017.
