Sparta‘s new single “Everything You Say” received its online premiere this morning, April 30th. Travis Shinn took on directing the video for the song which you can find below. This track is the second single the post-hardcore band’s Jim Ward and co. have shipped out from their new studio album “Cut A Silhouette“. That sixth full-length offering from the band is on course for a May 29th release date via Equal Vision Records/Dine Alone. Speaking “Everything You Say“, Ward went on to offer:
“The music for this was brought in by Matt [Miller] to the earliest writing sessions at my house in El Paso, tweaked in a hotel room in Oklahoma City and played at a soundcheck that night. It is one of those songs that takes shape early and no matter how you adjust, it just keeps ending up back where it started. I love it. This is a dreamy song about longing and love. A big scream declaring desire.”
