With a long-awaited new album from NOLA sludge metal supergroup Down still in the wings, Nuclear Blast Records have announced a newly remastered reissue of the group’s third full-length outing, “Down III: Over The Under“. Eric Koondel (Soilwork, Cynic) was brought in to oversee this new mastering job, which will arrive on vinyl, CD and digital formats on June 19th.
The latter two options will feature the bonus track “Invest In Fear“. That song was previously made available exclusively on European and Japanese releases of the album. This new reissue will mark the first time the album has been made available on vinyl in the U.S. officially, as well as the debut of aforementioned b-side on streaming services worldwide.
