Canadian tech metallers Archspire are newly premiering a music video for their song “The Vessel“. After managing to fund their forthcoming album “Too Fast To Die” Kickstarter, the group have also managed to keep this new video largely in-house too. Guitarist Dean Lamb served as the director, while he and frontman Oliver Rae Aleron co-wrote it alongside assistant director Sav Bagshaw.
The band even worked a nod to the album’s producer Dave Otero into the video, of which they had the following to say:
“Oterobotics presents: Phrygian Dominator
The fully autonomous music production system designed to handle composition, arrangement, and final mix, taking humans entirely out of the picture.
Phrygian Dominator redefines the creative process. Operating seamlessly, it forcibly removes friction, and cuts you from the technical and creative burdens of production.
Setup is simple: assemble using the included allen key and follow the guided instructions. Once activated, Phrygian Dominator takes over.
‘Humanity Sensitivity’ programming will be provided in a future cloud update, through your Oterobotics+ subscription.
So order your own Phyrgian Dominator today! Stand back and experience the future.
Like, literally stand back. Maybe hide under a desk or something.

“Too Fast To Die” is right around the corner, with its release scheduled for next Friday, April 10th. Two weeks after that, the group will embark on their ‘Long Roads Big Loads Tour‘, headlining with support from Undeath, Crown Magnetar & Mutilation Barbecue.
