Melodic hardcore favs Turnstile and rising British alternative metal stars Sleep Token both left the 2026 ‘BRIT Awards‘ empty handed today, February 28th. While those outfits each enjoyed a stellar 2025, reaching new heights and breaking records, neither managed to take home any awards this evening.
That was not the case at the GRAMMY Awards earlier this month for Turnstile, as Baltimore, MD band landed two awards at that show, including Best Metal Performance for “Birds” (beating out Sleep Token, Ghost and more,) and Best Rock Album for “NEVER ENOUGH“.
While Sleep Token made chart history with their latest album “Even In Arcadia” last May, the mysterious collective ultimately struck out at the GRAMMYS as well, also losing out to Nine Inch Nails in the Best Rock Song category.
