Nine Inch Nails have surprise released another batch of songs apparently held over from the sessions for their soundtrack to last year’s ‘Tron Ares‘ film. The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame-inducted industrial metal legends returned after several years of absence to score that film, netting the GRAMMY Award for ‘Best Rock Song’ for the featured single “As Alive As You Need Me To Be” earlier this year.
Today, February 27th, the band have issued a companion piece to that soundtrack titled “Tron Ares: Divergence“. In addition to some unreleased tracks, that set also includes various remixes of compositions which appeared on the original soundtrack.
