Thrash metal lifers Exodus have shared the doomy title track to their upcoming 12th studio album “Goliath“. Violinist Katie Jacoby (The Who, Mariachi El Bronx) guests on this track. Exodus collectively commented:
“‘Goliath‘ may quite possibly be the heaviest thing we have ever done, and certainly the slowest song in our catalog, as close to doom metal as Exodus we get! Just pure evil, as sinister as it gets, featuring our friend Katie Jacoby, who laid down 18 tracks of strings in the middle harmony section, making the song go from just pure horror to a thing of beauty.”
Tony Aguilera & Jim Louvau (Jerry Cantrell, Carnifex) co-directed the below music video. “Goliath” is scheduled for a March 20th release through Napalm Records. It is also one of two new albums the band have been working on over the past year.
