Organizers for the annual ‘70,000Tons Of Metal‘ cruise have issued a statement regarding recent allegations of groping that have been circulating as of late at this aboard this year’s voyage. Public accusations against Skeletal Remains vocalist/guitarist Chris Monroy cropped up online this month, alleging Monroy repeatedly touched and grabbed women on the cruise without their consent.
Security aboard the cruise are said to have been involved , with Monroy reportedly being barred from the cruise as a result of his alleged behavior. Skeletal Remains and Monroy have remained silent in the midst of the allegations, with comments on select platforms of their social media profiles currently locked down.
At least one individual involved with the cruise took to social media to comment on the matter. Kim Dylla, a former member of GWAR, who has worked behind the scenes on ‘70,000 Tons Of Metal‘ in various capacities since 2013, commented publicly on Facebook:

“Our security team was made aware of a situation during the cruise and promptly interviewed all parties involved to defuse the matter. After reviewing the information available at the time, no further action was warranted.
