Deftones gave a fan an experience of a lifetime during their recent February 05th set at the Atlas Arena in Lódz, Poland. That concertgoer, reportedly named Kacper, got a chance to join the band onstage for a set-closing performance of “7 Words” from the band’s debut album “Adrenaline“. While it’s unclear the circumstances that led to the Kacper being invited onstage, fan-filmed footage of that unexpected cameo can be found below.
Update: February 08th, 2026 09:46am:
According to a fan who attended the show, Kacper held up a sign during the concert asking to be invited to play on a track. That sign was acknowledged by Deftones frontman Chino Moreno earlier in the set, with the concertgoer stating of that exchange:
“About half through the setlist the kid held up a sign, that looked like it said something like ‘let me play a song with you’ during a break in the set, to which Chino replied ‘what do you play?’ And the kid did the gesture for guitar solos, to which Chino joked ‘saxophone?’ And then Chino said ‘guitar?’, he looked over at his bandmates and smiled and said ‘we’ll see.'”
Later, as the set was coming to a close, Moreno then invited the fan onstage for the performance featured in the below footage.
