Former Devourment bassist/vocalist Mike Majewski, who went on to front Truth Devoid, has been arrested and charged with four counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury, and one count of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle. The incident in question took place in May of 2025 in Dallas, TX.
Majewski‘s vehicle was said to be traveling in the wrong direction in the southbound lanes on the Dallas North Tollway at 01:27am. Majewski‘s vehicle is said to have side-swiped an 18-wheeler and then struck another vehicle head-on.
A report filed by NBCDFW on May 15th, 2025 indicated that one woman was killed at the scene, with five others, including Majewski, suffering critical injuries in the crash. Tragically one victims of the crash is said to have perished from injuries sustained while her vehicle caught on fire after the crash, per a report from a citizen who happened upon the scene.
Majewski is said to have been formally charged this week after being released from the hospital and is currently being held in custody on a $175,000 bond.
