While most aspects of metal and hard rock have long been related to the pre-awards show at the annual ‘GRAMMY Awards‘, this year’s event will feature an actual live performance from a heavy artist. Alternative metal band Spiritbox are scheduled to perform at that ceremony, which will begin airing February 01st at 12:30 pm PST 03:30 pm EST from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, CA.
The band are currently on their third nomination this year, with their track “Soft Spine” up in the Best Metal Performance category. They’re once again up against some stiff competition in that category, with the following songs also nominated:
Dream Theater – “Night Terror“
Ghost – “Lachryma“
Sleep Token – “Emergence“
Turnstile – “Birds“
