The nominees are in for the 2026 ‘GRAMMY Awards‘. Next year’s annual celebration of the music industry will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA on February 01st. This morning (November 07th) saw a livestreamed event held to reveal those up for the awards.
Those in contention for this year’s ‘Best Metal Performance’ include alternative metal breakout stars Sleep Token, previous GRAMMY Award winning prog metal virtuosos Dream Theater, melodic hardcore stars Turnstile, Swedish occult rock titans Ghost and Canadian alternative metal outfit Spiritbox. Sharon Osbourne and her children Jack and Kelly announced the nominees for both this year’s ‘Best Metal Performance’ and ‘Best Rock Album’ categories.
