Ahead of tomorrow’s (January 13th) official announcement, word of Poison The Well‘s long-awaited new album has emerged. The influential Floridian metalcore band have titled their first new record since 2009 “Peace In Place“, and will be releasing it on March 20th through SharpTone Records.
A listing for the effort has already surfaced on Apple Music, revealing both the album’s artwork and the track listing for this highly anticipated comeback. Album credits also indicate the band worked with with GRAMMY Award-winning producer Will Putney (Body Count, Better Lovers) on this new opus.
While Poison The Well did unveil two new tracks, “Trembling Level” and “Urchin” last year, neither of those songs are featured on this new effort. Instead, “Thoroughbreds” is slated to premiere online tomorrow as the first single from the record.
“Peace In Place” track listing:
01 – “Wax Mask“
02 – “Primal Bloom“
03 – “Thoroughbreds“
04 – “Everything Hurts“
05 – “Weeping Tones“
06 – “A Wake Of Vultures“
07 – “Bad Bodies“
08 – “Drifting Without End“
09 – “Melted“
10 – “Plague Them The Most“
Unfortunately for the band’s best laid plans, it would seem that the group are off to a bit of cursed promotional cycle for this record thus far, as Ticketmaster recently leaked a handful of dates for their upcoming touring plans on this record as well.
